    Joanna

    Practice Manager
Joanna has been in nearly every role in veterinary medicine, but is enjoying a blended position here at Eagle Rock Vet Clinic. In between management responsibilities, she spends time at the front desk and in the treatment room and gets to appreciate interactions with both clients and patients.

She joined the team in 2024 and while she had been in the veterinary industry for over 15 years, she was new to Idaho. Her whole family was born and raised in Indiana, but jobs and life spread them all over the country. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, was the last one in her family still in the Midwest and decided to move closer to the rest of the family that had “gone west”. Now all three of her brothers, her parents, and herself are enjoying life in the West.

She enjoys spending her spare time exploring everything Idaho and the West have to offer both on foot with her Frenchie, Willow, or on horseback with her Arabian/Quarter Horse, Glory. Other hobbies include kayaking, hiking, and trail riding, as well as exploring and driving the winding mountain roads in her Miata convertible.

    Alexis

    Veterinary Technician, CVT
Alexis moved to Idaho in 2018 after graduating college with her associates in Veterinary Technology from Carrington College in the same year. She became fully certified as a technician in June of 2021. She has experience in multiple areas of the veterinary hospital and strives to answer any question. Alexis has a love for all animals and studies to know as much as she can about all breeds and species. She spends her time away from the clinic with her tabby cat Pineapple, her bearded dragon Klaus, reading new books, and baking.

    Courtney

    Veterinary Assistant
Courtney joined us after 10 years of working in the veterinary field. She has a deep passion for veterinary medicine and truly enjoys her job. Currently, she is a student working towards her veterinary technician degree. Originally from the Reno/Tahoe area, she moved to eastern Idaho in 2020 with her husband, two kiddos, five dogs, and two cats. She loves exploring the outdoors, whether it’s adventuring with their UTV/ATV, paddleboarding, or camping in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.

    Lexi

    Veterinary Assistant
Lexi started in veterinary medicine early on in her career and had worked in the field for 4 years when joining our team. She has always loved animals and is now studying biology at the College of Eastern Idaho with hopes to continue her studies further into the veterinary medical field. Lexi’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is all of the lessons that animals teach her. They are incredible examples of resilience, loyalty, and unconditional love, which are all really important reminders of what truly matters in life. Her family moved to Eastern Idaho shortly after she was born and has been here ever since. She enjoys the gym, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 dogs.

    Brooke

    Client Services Coordinator
Brooke has had a love for animals since she was a little girl. She would feed stray cats and beg her father to let her keep them. She grew up having multiple pet cats and just adores them. Brooke has always thought of working in the veterinary field but ended up moving in the direction of human healthcare reception for over 15 years. Brooke has enjoyed working in the human healthcare field but needed a change and is now in the veterinary field as a receptionist and is loving every minute of it. Brooke enjoys being with her family and friends, and loves cuddles from her sweet animals. She has 2 kids, 2 step-children, 3 cats and 2 dogs. Brooke enjoys the outdoors with her family, loves to go paddle boarding, being in the mountains and going on adventures with her husband who is a wildlife photographer. Brooke also enjoys watercolor painting, singing in her band, writing new songs, and performing at different events. She is very excited to be a part of the veterinary field and is eager to learn new things and spend lots of time with all types of animals.

    Maricruz

    Client Services Coordinator
Since she was a little girl, Maricruz has always wanted to work with animals. Her dad’s side of the family has a cattle farm in Mexico where they also house a variety of other animals including horses, cats, a goat, and a cute guard dog. Being around that environment inspired her interest in animals. As she grew up, she ended up helping her father and uncle with their concrete business and her grandmother with her restaurant. She is glad to be around animals once again and greet them everyday at Eagle Rock Veterinary Clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family (she is the oldest of five children), traveling any chance she gets, and growing her photography skills. Se habla español.

    Karla

    Client Services Coordinator/Veterinary Assistant
Karla has lived in Idaho since 2014. She joined us in 2025 after having worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She has worked in emergency medicine for half of her time in the vet field but truly enjoys being able to work at a clinic with exotic animals as well as cute puppies and kittens! She has a rescued Husky named Kuda, and a Mexican Black Kingsnake named Daegan. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, reading, and heading to the mountains with her boyfriend, his dog Jack, and Kuda, to decompress and unplug. She has an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Social Work.
