Joanna has been in nearly every role in veterinary medicine in the last 15 years, but is enjoying a blended position here at Eagle Rock VetClinic. Beyond her primary management responsibilities, she enjoys interacting with clients and patients both at the front desk and in the treatment room. Originally from Indiana, Joanna earned her Bachelor's in Animal Sciences from Purdue University. Outside of work, you'll find Joanna with family or embracing the outdoors: on the trail or kayaking with her Frenchie, Willow; on horseback with her Arabian/Quarter Horse, Glory; or enjoying scenic drives in her Miata convertible.
Alexis moved to Idaho in 2018 after graduating college with her associates in Veterinary Technology from Carrington College in the same year. She became fully certified as a technician in June of 2021. She has experience in multiple areas of the veterinary hospital and strives to answer any question. Alexis has a love for all animals and studies to know as much as she can about all breeds and species. She spends her time away from the clinic with her tabby cat Pineapple, her bearded dragon Klaus, reading new books, and baking.
Courtney joined us after 10 years of working in the veterinary field. She has a deep passion for veterinary medicine and truly enjoys her job. Currently, she is a student working towards her veterinary technician degree. Originally from the Reno/Tahoe area, she moved to eastern Idaho in 2020 with her husband, two kiddos, five dogs, and two cats. She loves exploring the outdoors, whether it’s adventuring with their UTV/ATV, paddleboarding, or camping in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
After seven years as a Veterinary Technician, Rachel decided to take a detour into human medicine - spending eight years wrangling people in the back of an ambulance as an EMT. (Spoiler alert: animals are usually better patients.) Now, she is back to her true calling in Veterinary Medicine as a Technician and is thrilled to trade in the sirens for stethoscopes and fur again.
When she is not caring for creatures great and small, she is the proud mom of two amazing daughters, keeps a small zoo at home, and is passionate about the Quarter horses that she and her family raise. Rachel's free time is spent roaming the wilderness, going to exotic places with her husband, and working on their dream property in Ririe.

Born and raised in Idaho Falls, Ambriegh has always had a deep love and passion for helping animals. She graduated from BYU - Provo in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently on her journey toward becoming a veterinarian.
Around the clinic, you'll often find Ambriegh dancing, singing, smiling, and laughing as she works. She believes in creating a positive, warm environment for both patients and their people.
Outside of the clinic, she loves going to Zumba, listening to true crime podcasts and audiobooks, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and (of course) spoiling her pride and joy, Harry, the cocker spaniel.

Since she was a little girl, Maricruz has always wanted to work with animals. Her dad’s side of the family has a cattle farm in Mexico where they also house a variety of other animals including horses, cats, a goat, and a cute guard dog. Being around that environment inspired her interest in animals. As she grew up, she ended up helping her father and uncle with their concrete business and her grandmother with her restaurant. She is glad to be around animals once again and greet them everyday at Eagle Rock Veterinary Clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family (she is the oldest of five children), traveling any chance she gets, and growing her photography skills. Se habla español.
Born and raised in southeast Idaho, Evelyn has always loved the desert and mountain landscapes, but has always dreamed of one day moving somewhere a little warmer. (At least for the winter!) She grew up fostering animals with her family and working closely with local shelters. This only made her fondness for animals grow stronger over the years. She is a dedicated member on the board of directors for a local reptile rescue, which is owned and operated by her family. In her spare time she enjoys crochet, cooking, and video games. She loves travelling with her spouse as often as she can. “I love any place with palm trees!”. At home she takes care of a ‘mini circus’ including an amazon parrot, two cocker spaniels, a cat, two aquatic turtles, mice, fish, and the occasional foster for the rescue.

Next time you visit, be sure to say hello to our adorable, amphibious mascots, Blanca and Verde, who reside in their cozy habitat right here in our lobby! These two White's Tree Frogs are more than just pretty faces; they're an integral part of our clinic family and have been with us from the start. They bring a little extra cheer (and a lot of cuteness) to everyone who walks through our doors. They're a true delight and a reminder of the diverse and wonderful animal kingdom we're so passionate about protecting.
